FROM TRACKS TO ACADEMY: MTN CHAMPS WINNERS GET CAREER BOOST

MTN Nigeria has launched the MTN Champs Academy, an innovative initiative to develop and train the top 20 athletes from the first two seasons of the MTN Champs. This exciting program was unveiled during a press conference at the MTN Plaza in Ikoyi on August 21st.

The MTN Champs Academy offers a year-long platform for these young athletes to refine their skills while continuing their education. It’s more than just training; it’s about creating a balanced environment where athletic excellence and academic pursuits go hand in hand.

Specialized coaching and mentorship will be provided across various disciplines, including track and field events like sprinting, long-distance running, and jumping. To ensure these athletes receive top-tier training, MTN Nigeria has partnered with seasoned coaches and experts from the Nigerian athletics community.
