International Colloquium on Long-Distance Learning

The educational landscape has changed due to the pandemic thereby necessitating a paradigm shift to e-learning. Based on this, we learnt our support to the University of Lagos to organize a one-day international colloquium to deliberate and offer solutions for repositioning Open Distance Education and E-Learning for resilience and inclusiveness.

The event themed “Recalibrating Open Distance Education and E-learning for Resilient and Inclusive Education” aligns well with our vision of leading the delivery of a bold new digital world as connectivity is required to access E-books, E-journals, Learning Management Systems and Virtual classrooms.

This one-day conference featured keynote speakers from Nigeria, South Africa, UK, and Canada as keynote speakers and panelists. It served as a vital platform to deliberate, exchange ideas, present insights, and proffer solutions for repositioning Open Distance Education and E-learning for resilience and inclusivity in Africa.

The event was held at Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, Lagoon Front, UNILAG on September 16th, 2021.
