At MTN, we believe that our success is tied to the wellbeing of our various communities. This is why as part of our 20th Anniversary celebrations, we presented 20 brand new Honda SUVs to 20 loyal customers for being a part of our journey. The presentation took place at MTN Plaza, Falomo, in a cocktail event with the media professionals, stakeholders and customers on Sunday, August 22, 2021.
The winners were randomly selected from subscribers that joined the network on our anniversary each year since inception in 2001.
According to Karl Toriola, our Chief Executive Officer, the 20-year journey has not been the company’s alone. “Ours has been a classic case of ‘together in progress,’ and we are thankful to all Nigerians for standing by us and helping us get to this milestone.”
In addition to the cars that were gifted, we gave out free airtime and data to all customers as 68.9 million subscribers received 200MB of data, and their first call of the day was free for up to five minutes.
