We took a bold step towards empowering Nigeria’s next generation of digital leaders with the official launch of the MTN Digital Skills Academy on April 17th, 2025.

Held in Abuja, the launch event brought together some of the brightest minds in tech and education, including Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, Director of the MTN Foundation, Mr. Simon Aharonu, Executive Secretary of the MTN Foundation, Odunayo Sanya, and MTN’s Chief Information Officer, Shoyinka Shodunke, alongside other visionary speakers. Every conversation, panel, and presentation echoed one message loud and clear: the future is digital, and it starts now.
