MTN, Microsoft Upskill SMEs on Data Analytics
MTN Nigeria, in collaboration with Microsoft, recently launched its first session of the MTN-Microsoft Training Programm.
This is aimed at empowering Nigeria’s fast-growing SME segment to streamline their financials and business processes, improve customer interactions and make better decisions with integrated intelligence.
Entitled “Innovation for Today’s Entrepreneur: Using Data to Your Advantage,” the programme was designed to provide entrepreneurs with a comprehensive set of Microsoft Office skills, geared towards fostering business growth and ultimately contributing to the economic growth of the country.
Business owners at the session were helped see how to standardise and integrate their business processes, including sales, finance, human resources, operations, logistics and marketing, to function as one.
By connecting data across accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, and customer interactions, SMEs would begin to get a holistic view of their business and chart financial performance in real time.
Over 50 SMEs benefitted from the training session, gaining first-hand experience on how to use Microsoft Excel.
