MTN continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to improving lives through impactful initiatives like the MTN Y’ello Mums Internship Programme. This programme was created to support young mothers who have taken career breaks to care for their families—whether nurturing a newborn or supporting a child with health challenges—by helping them transition seamlessly back into the corporate world.

The maiden edition of the programme was a resounding success, attracting over 4,000 applications from talented women across the country. After a rigorous selection process, 15 outstanding candidates were chosen to participate in the internship.

On Tuesday, 10th December 2024, the selected candidates were officially inaugurated during an orientation event at MTN Plaza, Lagos. They were introduced to their respective teams, where they will gain hands-on experience and expert mentorship over the next year. This initiative is a testament to MTN’s dedication to fostering inclusivity and empowering women to excel in their professional pursuits.
