A colourful celebration. A beautiful blend of colour and sound. And incredibly amazing moves everywhere! This was the sensational atmosphere at the Calabar Carnival this December. Joy and merriment were amid intense and rigorous display of talent amongst young and old in this celebration of indigenous culture.

Calabar’s streets pulsed underfoot of expert dancer and performers, and we were present to capture every electrifying moment of one of the biggest street parties in Africa!

The event featured the street parades of various groups, battle of the bands, unique display of fashion and art, and of course, the riling performances of both local and international musical artistes.
