MTNF joins UNODC, NDLEA in their continuous Battle Against Drug Abuse.

On June 25, 2023, MTN joined forces with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to organize a walk against substance abuse in Lagos and Abuja. The walk was a powerful symbol of solidarity in the battle against drug abuse, and it also served as a call to action for individuals, communities, and the government to address this pressing issue.

MTN also commemorated World Drug Abuse Day on June 26th at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja. During the event, MTN hosted a prize ceremony for the winners of the ASAP 2023 Quiz Competition. This initiative, which was spearheaded by MTN, aimed at engaging and educating Nigerian youths on the dangers of drug abuse. The quiz competition encouraged young Nigerians in secondary schools to deepen their understanding of the subject matter while providing a platform to showcase their knowledge and commitment to combating drug abuse.
