In the heart of West Africa, from December 1st to the 31st, Calabar welcomed over 2 million people from 25 countries for the renowned Calabar Carnival. This giant celebration, acknowledged as the pride of Nigeria, showcased a mesmerizing blend of culture, music, food, and captivating festivities.
As the largest, richest, and longest tourism event in West Africa, the Calabar Carnival has evolved into an annual spectacle that unites people across borders in joyous revelry. We were fortunate to participate in this grand celebration, contributing to the dazzling display of Nigeria’s cultural richness and creativity.
The Calabar carnival stands as a testament to Nigeria’s diversity and unity, presenting cultural wealth through traditional dances echoing centuries-old rhythms and contemporary musical performances resonating with modern afrobeat.
