FIGHTING THE WAR AGAINST DRUG ASAP

In a powerful move to combat substance abuse, MTN has launched the Anti-Substance Abuse Programme (ASAP), a dynamic initiative bringing together multiple stakeholders and sectors to fight one common enemy, Drug Abuse.

This program aims to reduce the incidence of first-time substance abuse among young Nigerians aged 10-25. ASAP is built on four crucial pillars: Awareness Creation, Information Dissemination, Stakeholder Engagement, and Empowerment.

ASAP isn’t just a campaign; it’s a transformative intervention. By raising awareness and spreading accurate information, MTN is tackling the myths surrounding substance abuse and providing young people with the knowledge they need to make smart, informed choices. The engagement of various stakeholders ensures a united and effective approach to this urgent issue.

In honor of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26, MTN will host a series of impactful events. These activities aim to amplify the message of substance abuse prevention and showcase MTN’s steadfast commitment to this cause.
