The competition featured three categories: Cadet (under 14), Youth (under 17), and Junior (under 20).
Preceding the Ibadan edition, the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo witnessed a similar spectacle from the 26th to the 28th of October. Over 1800 registered students showcased their skills in track and field events across the same three categories.
