Jos played host to the second stop of the MTN Champs Season 4, from March 26 to 28, 2025, and the city delivered in every sense of the word.

The three-day event opened with a high-profile Press Conference before moving into the main business of the weekend: the tryouts. Athletes arrived from across the region carrying months, and in many cases years, of preparation. For a significant number of them, this was the opportunity they had been working toward their entire athletic careers.

Despite the characteristic cool of Jos, the arena was anything but cold. The competition burned with intensity across all three days as athletes gave everything they had on the track and in the field. From the sprints to the jumps to the throws, every event was contested with the kind of focus and determination that speaks to the quality of talent MTN Champs continues to unearth across Nigeria. Medals were awarded to all finalists, a fitting recognition of the heart and hustle they poured into every second of the competition.
