Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Ikoyi
MTN Nigeria marked its 25th anniversary with Y’ello Street, a specially curated museum experience at the company’s headquarters in Ikoyi, Lagos, celebrating the milestones, memories, and moments that have shaped MTN Nigeria’s journey over the past 25 years.
Open to the public from August 10 to 22, 2026, Y’ello Street took visitors on a nostalgic journey through MTN Nigeria’s history. The museum featured a collection of MTN artefacts, campaign memorabilia, historic materials, and memorable moments from the brand’s evolution, giving visitors an opportunity to see how the company has grown alongside the people and communities it serves.
Throughout the two-week experience, MTN leadership, customers, employees, creators, members of the press, and other distinguished visitors toured the museum and engaged with the various exhibits. Among the notable visitors was David Sproule, Charge d’Affaires of the Canadian High Commission to Nigeria, who joined other guests in exploring the exhibition.
The museum created an opportunity for visitors to reconnect with some of MTN Nigeria’s most memorable moments, from iconic campaigns and milestones to the experiences that have become part of the brand’s 25-year story.
Beyond the exhibits, the experience was marked by nostalgia, shared memories, goodwill, and reflections on the journey so far. As MTN Nigeria celebrated 25 years, Y’ello Street offered a fitting way to look back at where the journey began while looking ahead to the possibilities of the next 25 years.
