Y’elloCare 2025: Connecting at the Roots

Every June, MTN employees across the country come together with one goal in mind—making a difference where it matters most. That’s the spirit of Y’elloCare, our 21-day employee volunteer programme dedicated to driving positive change in underserved communities.
This year’s edition, themed “Connecting at the Roots,” was officially flagged off on June 3rd at our headquarters in Lagos. The event brought together our CEO, executive leaders, senior management, and employees from across the business—united by a shared purpose to reach communities at the grassroots and leave a lasting impact.
Over the course of 21 days, staff-led outreach activities took place in schools, churches, and local communities. From donating computer sets, projectors, and MTN broadband devices including free internet for a year, to facilitating digital skills workshops and empowerment programmes, our people showed up to do what they do best—connect, care, and contribute.
The campaign culminated in a lively update session, where teams reunited to share stories, lessons learned, and the impact created in various locations. It was a moment of reflection, celebration, and renewed commitment to the values that make Y’elloCare special.
