The MTN “Best of The Streets” initiative is a groundbreaking endeavor dedicated to discovering untapped talent within grassroots communities in Nigeria, offering aspiring artists a global stage to showcase their abilities. This collaborative venture involves MTN, C.R.E.A.M Platform, and esteemed partners.

The grand finale unfolded at Agege Stadium on February 10th, kicking off at 10 a.m. Music enthusiasts and fans were warmly invited to partake in this historic event, witnessing the Top 5 contenders vying for the coveted title of MTN Best of The Streets.

A staggering 30 contestants competed for impressive prizes, including a 1.5 million naira cash prize from MTN, 10 million naira from Parallex bank, a car from Mikano, and an EP deal, offering life-changing opportunities for the deserving winner. Specikinging emerged victorious, with Tohxyn as the 1st runner-up and PabloSpraga as the 2nd runner-up, leaving a lasting impression on the judges with his remarkable talent and charisma. The audience erupted in cheers as Specikinging received his well-deserved cash prize.

The event was graced by the presence of notable figures such as DbanJ, MasterKraft, Small Doctor, Peruzzi, and Aisha Mumuni, Chief Digital and Strategy Officer (CDSO), alongside other members of the MTN leadership team.

Who says Valentine’s Day is only for couples? At the Booless Party hosted at Good Beach, singles proved that being without a ‘boo’ didn’t mean missing out on the fun.

On February 10th, Good Beach’s serene setting provided the ideal backdrop for this memorable event. Singles gathered with their ‘President’ Hero Daniels to enjoy soulful performances by Johnny Drille, Isegun Johnson, and Zadok, accompanied by lively music and games. With Hero Daniels as the charismatic host, the evening was filled with laughter and fun vibes.

As the night unfolded, singles played matchmaking games, adding an extra dose of excitement to the festivities. Love was in the air, and while some may have come solo, everyone left with memories to cherish.

The Wheels of Steel was not left out as A-list DJs such as DJ Dope Ceaser, DJ Neptune, DJ Tinny, and DJ 4kerty took on the task of entertaining fans and set both the stage and dancefloor ablaze, alongside Hype Men, Hardvatage, and Rankywise infusing the gathering with infectious energy and transforming the viewing party into a lively celebration of both football and music.

As the TECNO Spark 20 viewing party unfolded, it became evident that it was more than a gathering of tech enthusiasts and football lovers; it was a fusion of diverse passions, united by the common thread of excitement and a shared love for the beautiful game.

On the 14th of December, the ‘Davido Timeless Tour Abuja’ unfolded as a spectacular musical journey, and we couldn’t have had a better time! The event, a celebration of music and unparalleled entertainment, showcased the extraordinary talents of the stellar performer and concert convener, Davido.

The atmosphere was charged with excitement as Davido took the stage, delivering electrifying performances featuring tracks from his globally chart-topping Timeless album. The audience was captivated by the artist’s magnetic stage presence, and the air was filled with the infectious energy of a truly unforgettable concert experience.

The ‘Davido Timeless Tour Abuja’ proved to be a testament to the artist’s ability to curate an unforgettable evening of entertainment.

Organized by Platinum X ART AND MEDIA LTD in collaboration with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), this four-day extravaganza aimed to showcase Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage while boosting the tourism and entertainment industries.

The 12th edition of the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) recently came to a spectacular close, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of African cinema.

Make Music Day is celebrated around the world every year on June 21 in commemoration of  World Music Day.

Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it has become a global celebration held on the same day in more than 700 cities in 120 countries.

This event will hold in Lagos from June 21 – 26th, 2021.
